Its that time of year again folks: summer is over, Halloween is just around the corner and South Belfast is full of incoming freshers, dreaming of what the next three years will bring. For returning students of QUB, however, this time of year means only one thing: registration on QSIS.

For some, the crash was inevitable.

And most were less than optimistic.

Soon enough, tempers were wearing thin and “stress” became dangerously close to trending on Twitter.

Some students were contemplating drastic measures to avoid having to use QSIS again.

While others were just being downright hurtful!

Module selections are by far the most hated section of registration…

…as often, they can’t be manipulated quite as easily as one would hope.

Some students had suggestions about how to fix the problem…

…while others continued their tried and tested methods of making the process as painless as possible.

Whats important to remember is that help is available!

After a while, reports began to emerge of those who had come out the other side, unscathed.

And the sense of relief across campus became very real.

For those of you who haven’t yet managed to complete your registration, may the odds be ever in your favour!
