Hello, hope you had a pleasant Christmas. Now you may have gotten used to your parents making you dinner so to get back into the swing of cooking for yourself, I’ve decided to do something easy peasy lemon squeezie. I’ve assumed that he who makes this will have a wee bit of rice with it, but you can have something else with it like rice or…rice.
You’ll also need:
- A saucepan
- A quite sharp knife and chopping board
- A hob and microwave
- Pour the sauce into the sauce pan and keep it at a low heat. After a while you should see it bubble slightly.
- While waiting for the sauce to heat up you can start to cut the chicken up into wee bite size chunks and then toss it into the saucepan. Leave it to simmer for about 30 minutes at a low heat. Remember to stir it every five minutes or so to save you a lot of curse words when doing the washing up
- You’ll know the chicken is ready when it has gone white, you can take a bit out and cut it in half to make sure. Put on the rice and have a quick boogie around the kitchen – by the time you’re done, it should be ready to munch.
Your end product should look something like this, only I hope you put more effort into it than I did!
