Come to think of it, now is a great time to try to make burgers, since the horse meat scandal is over and done with we can now eat our burgers safe in the knowledge that the 20% of the burger is from something that originally cried Moo.
You’ll also need:
- A baking tray and tinfoil
- A quite sharp knife
- A grill
- Pre-heat the grill on medium until it heats up. Put some tinfoil on top of the baking tray and place as many burgers as you like on it
- Place the tray under the grill and let it cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, take the burgers out and turn them over and let the other side get cooked for another 10 minutes.
Tip: When the burgers are cooked there may be a little puddle of grease, so it may be a good idea to move the burgers to a plate or chopping board
- Now you can go mad with what you put in the burger. If you put the cheese slice on top of the meat then it should nicely melt on top.
Tip: After you have finished making your burger it is compulsory to give it a suiting name and place it in your mouth
Your end product should look something like this:
And that’s it! It’s wee buns! (pun fully intended)
If you think there are any improvements to be made with the way that the Student Supper Saver Special is made or if there is anything you would like to see added to the format, then all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
