As the Student Leader Election at QUBSU gets fully under way, our reporter Paul Wyatt is beginning to conduct interviews with all candidates who are standing in the election.

Paul caught up with the current Vice-President for Education, Hannah Niblock, as she is hoping to fight to retain her position.

Although Hannah is the only candidate standing for VP Education, students can also vote for ‘RON’. RON, which stands for ‘Re-open Nominations’ is a way for students to still cast their vote, but to show that they didn’t want to vote for any of the candidates standing.

Our reporter talked to Hannah about the following issues:

– The ticket system

– Minimum standard of feedback for students

– Unpaid internships

– Retention of 3 week Easter break

– Library Reward Scheme

– Cost price printing
