What does the Deputy Station Manager Off Air do?

As Deputy Manager, I am tasked with leading the Events, Advertising, entertainment and Web teams. I try to help all my Heads of Teams as best I can, whether that is helping them fill in forms, generate ideas for potential events or promote QR’s blog and shows on social media.

I am also there to support our Manager with the running of the society in general, working with the SU to make sure that our members are part of society they can be proud of. Most of my work constitutes reading and editing articles, overseeing the production and editing of QRTV YouTube videos, helping to organise events such as our pub crawl and formal and of course, attending our weekly committee meetings.
